Terms & Conditions

1. Rental Agreement

By renting equipment from Tennis Ball Machine Hire Sydney, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. The rental period begins at the agreed pickup time and ends when all equipment is returned within the agreed return window.

2. Pickup & Return

  • Pickup is from Barangaroo, Sydney only. No delivery is offered.
  • You must have a suitable vehicle to transport the equipment.
  • Pickup window: 7:00–9:00 AM
  • Return window: 6:00–8:00 PM
  • Returns outside the return window are considered late and may incur a late fee.

3. Late Returns

  • Late returns are charged at $50 per late day or part thereof.
  • Late fees may be deducted from the deposit.

4. Deposit

  • A refundable deposit of $400 AUD is required at the time of booking.
  • The deposit is held to cover late returns, damage, loss, or missing items.
  • The deposit will be refunded to the original payment method within 3–5 business days after the equipment is returned and checked.

5. Care of Equipment

You agree to:

  • Treat all equipment with reasonable care
  • Not leave equipment unattended in public places
  • Protect equipment from rain, sand, water, and extreme weather
  • Return all items included in the rental

6. Damage & Loss

Normal wear and tear is expected. Damage beyond normal use, misuse, or loss of equipment will be charged to the renter. Costs may be deducted from the deposit or billed separately if they exceed the deposit amount.

7. Cancellations

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the rental start time receive a full refund (excluding any non-refundable payment processing fees).
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the rental start time are non-refundable.

8. Use & Liability

  • You are responsible for ensuring the use of the ball machine is permitted at your chosen tennis court.
  • Tennis Ball Machine Hire Sydney is not responsible for fines, confiscation, or disputes arising from court rules.
  • Use of the equipment is at your own risk. Tennis Ball Machine Hire Sydney is not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages arising from use of the equipment.

9. Identification & Refusal

  • A valid photo ID may be required at pickup.
  • We reserve the right to refuse handover if identification is not provided or if conditions for safe use and transport are not met.
