- Choose your dates and book online. You pay securely (including a refundable deposit), then pick up the machine in Barangaroo during the morning window and return it during the evening window on the return day. You receive the exact address and access details by email after booking.
You can control the machine using the panel, remote, or the Spinfire Pro 2 app for easier setup.

We also provide a simple 3-session training plan to follow. - Pickup is in Barangaroo, Central Sydney. Customers regularly come from the CBD, Eastern Suburbs (Bondi area), Inner West (Alexandria, Marrickville), and North Sydney. If you can get to Barangaroo, you can hire it.
- Pickup is by appointment in Barangaroo. After booking, you'll receive the exact address and access details by email. Please bring photo ID and call or text me when you arrive so I can bring the machine out and help load it into your car.
- A Spinfire Pro 2 tennis ball machine.
- You get a quick start guide with the rental. For Spinfire's full manufacturer documentation (setup, every control, safety, battery care, and troubleshooting), use the PDF below.
- The Spinfire Pro 2 supports adjustable speed, feed rate, height, and spin. You can practise groundstrokes, volleys, overheads, and movement drills using horizontal and vertical oscillation. It's suitable for solo practice and small group sessions.
- You can train solo with repeatable feeds: groundstrokes, volleys, movement patterns, and match-style sequences, all at your own pace.
- Expect around 2 to 4 hours of typical use on a full charge, depending on speed, spin, feed rate, and oscillation. The battery is fully charged at pickup and the charger is included.
- Yes. The machine has wheels and a handle, and one person can roll it around easily on flat surfaces. It weighs around 24 kg, so lifting it into a car is easier with two people, but many customers manage it solo.
- A 1 day rental includes pickup in the morning and return the same evening. Pickup is between 6:00-9:00 AM, and return is between 6:00-9:00 PM on the same day.
- Weekend rentals are picked up on Friday morning and returned on Sunday evening, within the standard pickup and return windows. This option is ideal if you want multiple sessions across the weekend.
- A car. The machine weighs around 24 kg and fits in a standard boot or on a back seat.
- Yes. The rental includes a fully charged battery and the charger.
- 100+ balls are included with the rental.
- No. You'll get a quick start guide, and I can do a short walkthrough at pickup if needed.
- No. You don't need prior experience with a ball machine. The Spinfire is straightforward to operate, and you'll get a quick start guide plus optional help at pickup if you want it.You can also follow this 3-session training plan.
No. You can control the machine in three ways:
- using the built-in control panel on the machine
- using the included remote control
- using the Spinfire Pro 2 app on your phone
All three options let you adjust settings like speed, spin, interval and movement.
The app is optional, but it can make things easier as you can control everything from your phone and save your preferred drills.
You can download the app in advance and connect via Bluetooth when you're on court.

- Any tennis court. The machine is relatively quiet, but please follow the venue's rules and be considerate of nearby players.
- Yes. A refundable security deposit is required. The deposit amount and payment method are shown during booking and in your confirmation email. It's refunded after the machine is returned in good condition.
- Call me straight away. My phone number is included in your booking confirmation email. We'll troubleshoot immediately and work out the best solution.
- Late returns may incur additional fees. If something changes, please get in touch as early as possible. Full details are in the Terms.
- You're responsible for damage beyond normal wear. Full details are in the Terms.
- Cancellation and refunds depend on how close to pickup you cancel. See the Terms and Conditions for the full cancellation policy.
- Ball machines can't be used in the rain. If poor weather is forecast, please get in touch as early as possible and we'll work out the best option.
- Yes. The machine has adjustable speed, spin, and feed settings, making it suitable for beginners as well as more experienced players.
