Pickup is in Barangaroo, Central Sydney. The exact address and access instructions are included in your booking confirmation email.

Do you only serve Barangaroo?

Pickup is in Barangaroo, Central Sydney. Customers regularly come from the CBD, Eastern Suburbs (Bondi area), Inner West (Alexandria, Marrickville), and North Sydney. If you can get to Barangaroo, you can hire it.

How does pickup work?

Pickup is by appointment in Barangaroo. After booking, you'll receive the exact address and access details by email. Please bring photo ID and call or text me when you arrive so I can bring the machine out and help load it into your car.

What ball machine is it?

A Spinfire Pro 2 tennis ball machine.

What can I do with the ball machine?

The Spinfire Pro 2 supports adjustable speed, feed rate, height, and spin. You can practise groundstrokes, volleys, overheads, and movement drills using horizontal and vertical oscillation. It's suitable for solo practice and small group sessions.

How long does the battery last?

Expect around 2 to 4 hours of typical use on a full charge, depending on speed, spin, feed rate, and oscillation. The battery is fully charged at pickup and the charger is included.

Does it have wheels? Can one person move it?

Yes. The machine has wheels and a handle, and one person can roll it around easily on flat surfaces. It weighs around 24 kg, so lifting it into a car is easier with two people, but many customers manage it solo.

What does a "1 day" rental mean?

A 1 day rental includes pickup in the morning and return the same evening. Pickup is between 6:00–9:00 AM, and return is between 6:00–9:00 PM on the same day.

How does the weekend (Fri–Sun) rental work?

Weekend rentals are picked up on Friday morning and returned on Sunday evening, within the standard pickup and return windows. This option is ideal if you want multiple sessions across the weekend.

What do I need to transport it?

A car. The machine weighs around 24 kg and fits in a standard boot or on a back seat.

Does it come with a battery?

Yes. The rental includes a fully charged battery and the charger.

How many balls are included?

100+ balls are included with the rental.

Is it hard to use?

No. You'll get a quick start guide, and I can do a short walkthrough at pickup if needed.

What courts can I use it on?

Any tennis court. The machine is relatively quiet, but please follow the venue's rules and be considerate of nearby players.

Is there a deposit?

Yes. A refundable security deposit is required. The deposit amount and payment method are shown during booking and in your confirmation email. It's refunded after the machine is returned in good condition.

What if it stops working during my session?

Call me straight away. My phone number is included in your booking confirmation email. We'll troubleshoot immediately and work out the best solution.

What happens if I return it late?

Late returns may incur additional fees. If something changes, please get in touch as early as possible. Full details are in the Terms.

What if it gets damaged?

You're responsible for damage beyond normal wear. Full details are in the Terms.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation and refunds depend on how close to pickup you cancel. See the Terms and Conditions for the full cancellation policy.

What happens if it rains?

Ball machines can't be used in the rain. If poor weather is forecast, please get in touch as early as possible and we'll work out the best option.

Is this suitable for beginners?

Yes. The machine has adjustable speed, spin, and feed settings, making it suitable for beginners as well as more experienced players.
